[V for Volunteer] How are Our Books Priced? – An Insider’s Guide

Written by Lee Lian

As a volunteer at Brotherhood Books, I'd like to ensure you that we go to great lengths to assure that our books are sold at a reasonable price. What must be taken in consideration however, are the many factors that go into allocating this price:

If you find that a book is pricier than expected, it may be because it is a first edition, signed by the authors, or is a hardcover with a jacket in impeccable condition - or sometimes a combination of all.

A cheaper book may be more damaged, an ex library copy, or one of many later reprints of a particular book.

As yet, there is no way of putting this information on the database but we are working on it. So stay tuned for a facelift of our website.

Rest assured that at Brotherhood Books, we do try to make sure you get what you pay for!

Happy reading!
